• Project Overview
Zestie is a food delivery app that we conceptualized and designed with a focus on user experience and visual appeal. Our goal was to create an intuitive interface that simplifies the process of discovering local restaurants and ordering meals. Through thoughtful design choices, we aimed to craft an app that not only looks great but also provides a seamless and enjoyable user journey from browsing to checkout.
Problems
Our user research revealed critical design flaws in current food delivery apps. Users complained about cluttered interfaces, unclear order tracking, and overwhelming menus. Restaurants encountered unintuitive management systems, while drivers encountered difficult navigation and privacy concerns. These insights guided our design process, inspiring solutions that improved the overall user experience.
Challenges
Designing Zestie challenged us to create an intuitive filtering system, optimize thumb-friendly mobile navigation, and balance detailed information with a clean visual experience. We also focused on integrating engaging tracking features and privacy-conscious elements for drivers, all while prioritizing user experience in every design choice.
Solutions
We created a clean, user-friendly interface for real-time order tracking, complete with engaging animations. Our design features a transparent routing visualization, scannable menu layouts, personalized restaurant recommendations, and live promotions, all presented in a visually appealing format. For drivers, we created privacy-focused navigation tools that strike a balance between functionality and data protection.

We crafted high-fidelity wireframes with clear visual hierarchies, emphasizing intuitive food ordering flows. Careful attention to sizing, spacing, and positioning ensured a user-friendly interface, bridging our conceptual designs for the final UI.
• Styles & Components
We designed a cohesive system with a clean, vibrant aesthetic, ensuring readability and accessibility. Reusable components and a thoughtful color palette created a consistent, approachable brand identity across all app screens.

The final UI design combines functionality and visual appeal, with subtle animations and interactions that make Zestie both efficient and enjoyable, resulting in a standout food delivery app.
