• Project Overview
Our team was tasked with designing the UX/UI for ThinkTank Academy, an educational app focused on career advancement. The challenge was to create an interface that was not only visually appealing, but also intuitive and engaging for a wide range of users. We began this project with a strong emphasis on user-centered design principles and a desire to create a visually cohesive learning environment.
Problems
We conducted extensive research, including interviews and surveys, to discover that users prefer a clean, distraction-free interface, visual progress cues, modular content, and seamless cross-device consistency for effective, on-the-go learning.
Challenges
As designers, we tackled the challenge of creating a visual hierarchy for diverse content, designing an interface that appeals to both young learners and professionals, balancing information density with white space, and developing a focus-enhancing color scheme. We also crafted micro-interactions to provide feedback and boost user engagement throughout the learning experience.
Solutions
We designed ThinkTank Academy with personalized learning journeys, interactive content, and clear progress tracking. Our mobile-first approach ensures responsive, touch-friendly interfaces for seamless learning on the go, allowing users to advance their careers anytime, anywhere, with engaging, easy-to-navigate features and updated expert-led courses.
